RADIOLOGY
We offer a fully functional and fully automatic "Innovate Technology" radiology unit with fully automatic x- ray developer. Radiological procedures are an invaluable tool to any quality veterinary practice to immediately deal with emergency situations. e.g. a possible bone fracture, an abdominal foreign body or an animal with breathing difficulty.

LASER SURGERY
The laser is a high frequency beam of light that comes out of an instrument that looks like a pen. We use it like a scalpel blade. Soft tissue surgery is 75% less pain-full and is almost bloodless. All speys/neuters, dew claw removal and many other soft tissue surgeries are now done exclusively with laser .
When coupled with post op medication, the Co2 surgical laser can make surgery as pain free as possible. As well as a reduction in pain, swelling, and bleeding, there is a much lower chance of infection, and thus surgical recovery is very fast!

SURGERY
Our surgical suite is one of the most advanced surgical units in Eastern Victoria. We offer a full range of surgical procedures on just about any pet. We offer the very best technology and the best care at an affordable price. We have advanced patient monitoring equipment that enables us to check the patients heartbeat, respiration, pulse, blood pressure, ECG, and body core temperature using just one machine while the animal is under general anaesthetic for any procedure.
We use a warm waterbed under the patient and warm air - 38C flowing over the animal during any surgical procedure to keep the patient warm.  This helps to reduce recovery time after anaesthesia.
We proudly offering CO2 surgical laser technology for surgery on your pets.  Our machine is one of the first to be used in Victoria on animals. Laser means no scalpel blade and no bleeding, there is also less pain as it seals the nerve ending, faster recovery, less swelling and less infection. Laser can be used in almost any surgical procedure.   fractured bones .

ORTHOPEDICS
Dr jas performs many orthopaedic surgeries that are typically done at specialty clinics, for example ACL(anterior cruciate ligament) repair, luxating patella correction, FHO( femur head ostectomy), and the repair many types of bone fracture.

RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY
Dr jas pandher performs many soft tissue reconstructive surgeries including; eye lid correction, soft palate resection, stenotic nares (opening of nasal passage), vulvoplasty, total ear canal ablation, lateral ear resection, anal seculectomy, medial canthoplasty, dewclaw removal, pyometra surgery, mammary tumours etc.

IN HOUSE PATHOLOGY
We have two machines for blood testing, one is hand held which is portable we use for house calls when pets don’t like travelling. Results usually take five minutes.
One of our vets Dr Jodie Hendry did a residency in pathology. Dr Jodie can test lumps and bumps on your pets in our clinic in a few minutes.

HOUSE CALLS
We offer home visits to most of the north–east and south-eastern suburbs for any reason e.g. vaccination, blood testing, collapsing big dog, stressful kitty and euthanasia for terminal ill animals.
This is a unique service for our clients and extending to others including: seniors, pregnant ladies, distressed pets, pets too heavy to carry in for any treatment, collapsed pets and when a taxi refuses to pickup etc.
We can do blood testing in your home with our Heska I stat blood analyser. We carry full pharmacy with us. If we think your pet needs transportation to the clinic for further treatment, estimates are available so you know in advance what to expect. Your invoice is itemized in detail with no hidden or unexplained cost.
Please be a little flexible around your appointment time as it is not always possible to accurately predict traffic and other pet emergencies.
We ask that all cats be confined to a room or carrier at least 45 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. Cats seem to have a sixth sense about things & will often make themselves absent just when you need them!

EMERGENCY SERVICE
A vet is available for emergency services, 24 hours.  We also monitor very sick animals with live video monitoring while our clinic is closed.  Those animals that need intensive 24 hour supervision are referred to a 24 hour monitoring facility. Due to the very large size of the practice and the daily heavy case load our vet on call may not be able to provide 24 hour service year round.
